The app says Im not allowed to book anything from 08:00 to 12:00 but why the frack cant we even just look at the different connections between my desired stations???

Indian railways tickets are finally available properly on mobile devices too, via this well designed, simple & clean app.

Congratulations, you have succeeded in making a app which very close for eligible for the title "Good for nothing". The app dose not sync with your main account. Cant pull your booked tickets. UI is good but Lots of work needed to be done.

Cant pull the booked tickets. Its not an efficient app. Please work on it. The interface is good.

It come no where close to the IRCTCT website. My booking on the website is unavailable in the mobile. I can use international card on IRCTCT website but not here. Come on guys you cant even create a seamless experience... Its just a matter of creating right APIs.

This is my first time using the app and also making my first reservation. I am very much impressed by the GUI and the booking is straight forward. It would be great if the same app could also check the PNR status in case of waiting list.

Please provide updates for changing mobile number. After clicking mobile number to edit screen get shifted down and you cant book the tickets without refreshing. IPhone 6

Appears to be good to start with. Few issues:- 1. Why this app is not for IPAD also? 2. Even for iPhone it does not give access to earlier booked e tickets. 3. Sometimes suddenly the App closes on its own? Crashes? 4. Why no booking allowed between 8AM to 1200 hrs?

This official app is unnecessarily difficult to register and to buy tickets. The rules are draconian. It simply does not work for non-Indian credit cards. If you are a foreign tourists this is completely useless. You will need a local mobile number and a local credit card for it to work. Previously the site used to work. If youre tourist visiting India stop wasting your time. If you can somehow find a local telephone number and register, then you can use some of the third-party apps to use any credit card to buy tickets. You can spend hours, if not days, trying to figure out how all this works. Looks like the third-party travel sites paid off someone to have foreign cards nonfunctional. This way they can charge a surcharge and process tickets. The one star is for the convenience of looking up train schedules.

Very poor app. Here are the problems below: 1. If your existing password is more than 10 character, the app is not working (because password box set to max 10 char.) Does IRCTC believe that users will change their password to use this app? NO. 2. Very slow performance. Need more tuning. I think IRCTC should test their product before launch in market. Otherwise the product will be "a waste of time"...

Bring PASSBOOK support Quite good app. Needs speed and performance improvements Sometimes takes really long to pull up search results.

Booked history do not show up which do not require a complex change

I am registered user of IRCTC, but my user id does not work in this app, nor does it let me create one with same id. There is no option for resetting the password. It could be better :-)

The app is good but a lot of improvement is possible. They should allow the app to add the booked tickets in the passbook itself.

I installed in iPhone 6, it works smoothly without any issues. The gui is very simple and smooth. Really great...!!!

App doesnt list the bookings I did using the irctc website....

IRCTC app is good for booking new tickets and searching train schedule realtime. However passengers are not able to see ticket/PNR status of tickets booked from other sources through this app. If this facility is included then this will be a great app for all things at one place.
